Was gutted when I had to ditch my bear to get a tiger, and would love another spider, crocodile and phoenix.

It would be great if there was a way to switch in and out different pets!

As cool as it would be to see all the guild members pets walking around the guild hall all the time, I think you should just be able to see your own pets to keep away the clutter. Think about it, guild with 50 people, all with a ranger and ranger secondaries going for a beastmaster title, that say you need 10 pets for, is a whole lot of pets wandering around. So my point is, just the pets you have tamed on that character.

An alternative way to store them would be to have an item (a cage) that you use to store the current pet in. The cage takes the name of the pet that's in it. If the cage is already full, it swaps the two animals.

To avoid loading during quests, you could store current pets in your cage at any time, but you could only swap a pet for another in town. That way, you can venture out with your pet, put it in a cage, and charm a new one. However, you can't swap pets on the fly, you need to go to town to do this.

Storing multiple pets is only limited to how many cages you want to carry in your inventory / stash, taking up space like other items would.

I think they should make beast mastery linked to that. So the higher ur attribute is the more pets you can have. I also think you should be able to tame devourers, spiders etc. as pets even though they are monsters. They are still animals.

Heh It would be great to be able experience other Animals, but also to be allowed to stay with the ones your characters Grew Up with, seeing as how its an MMORPG. Goes with the Role Play. SO WOOOOOOOOT Love

Yes I've been thinking about this for a long time, why should we give up all our pets that take time to level up !

double /signed thanks for the suggestion.

but instead of letting them go in the guild hall, why not make use of the "animal trainer" where we usually give our animals to, just pay them like we pay Xunlai :P (this name make me laugh, must be some one who know mandarin that came up with the name! cos its so real)

O.o new title for rangers who has gather all type of pets and are level 20 beast master or something uber cool will do

signed naturally...

thats one of those old dead horses, whic Anet has discussed so much about and in the end thy forgot it again

i really hop,e that we'll have at lest in GW2 then "real" beast master, which can use like 3 pets at once,m and not only 1, because with only 1 ur not a "beast master", ur a wannabe ...

They also have discussed several times about implementing an option of storing tamed pets, nothing has happened until today ...that SUCKS !!

There are so much solutions to the pet stora, for example now our hall of monuments, why not simple store in them the "Information" of which pet the player has all tamed and with which level the player has stored the information of the pet and then use the HoM simple to reproduce pets, that you#ve still tamed and stored as Information in ur HoM

Example:

I tamed a Black Moa, now i played long enough with itand want an other pet, so i go into my HoM, ave there the information, that my chara has tamed a black moa, by getting the statue of the black moa on theo ne specific monument for it and then i exchange my pets, delete moa and catch ma the UW Spider...

Now ive also played with my spider long enough and want my black moa back, so i'll go again into my HoM, to thre monument, save up my Data of my UW Spider and delete it, but now comes the point !!!

Now I won't run into echowald forest to tame me a new black moa, NO !!!, i just click only my monument in my HoM where my black moa statue stands, click on the statue and a window will the pop up, that will ask me, if I want to have back my old tamed Black Moa.
When I click now on "yes", then my old black moa will be again my pet, with the only exception, that it will be again nameless, until you give ur pet again its old name, or an other ...regardless XD

it would be the perfect system for "pet storage" to use simple the hall of monuments for it and I don't think, it should be big problem to give players they old pets back, when they click them on their monuments, where they have saved up the information, that they have still tamed one of those pets, which stand on the monument ...

I'm always up for more pets and pet storage. Especially now with HoM statues where we have to ditch our pets if we want the other statues. Or at least lets us trade them to our heroes.

If this has already been suggested sorry.

Since animal tamers excist in the game they must presumably have the ability to hold more than one animal at a time.
Don't they usually come up with some spiel about knowing a wealthy collector with a zoo.

Well the idea is to have a guildhall animal tamer to look after them all.
Alter and expand on that basic idea however you like.
